The most famous color scheme of a Razorback P-47 Thunderbolt is the "SNAFU". A restored version of this scheme still flies in the UK, actively serving as one of the few Thunderbolts left in the world. This scheme is partially painted in the mold, partially painted from the outside. It's refined with original 'Tailormade' nomenclature stencils, flat clear coat, and a professionally applied weathering. It's not a cheap airbrush; it is as artistic as it gets. We decided to go all the way and offer this scheme only in a fully completed version. We deemed that anything else would not be right. It will be a custom-made jewel for the most demanding of our customers. Not for the faint-hearted, but for the one who puts quality over and above everything else.
