Hi, I'm Lars Roessling from Germany, I"m 28 years old and I joined the CARF-Models Team in 2023.
I have extensive experience in building, setup and flying any kind of aircraft as I started the hobby at the age of only 5 years.
I was introduced to the hobby by my father, who also is a long year aviation enthusiast.
After long years of flying aerobatic prop planes my CARF journey started with an Ultra Flash. It was the perfect jet for me to get started into Turbines as it matched my flying style very good and I was able to learn a lot with this aircraft.
In 2023 I've teamed up with Max Chrubasik as the “Team Rebellious” Formation team with two CARF Rebel Max. We had great success in our first competition, the German Jet Formation Cup 2023, finishing in 3rd place. This has motivated us to build two special painted RebelMAX and practice hard for the next Jet Formation Cup.
Besides the Jet Formation Cup I attended several airshows in 2023 . One of it being the Horizon Airmeet, where I was invited the 2nd time. I fly mostly with my Europsort Ultimate, which I really love. Later in the year I had the privilege to hold on to the factory Extra 330LX 2.6m for a while to wring it out, give feedback and show it around.
At the Alzey Airshow 2023 I won Best of Show with 3x CARF Eurosport (Thomas Singer, Wolfgang Kluehr, Lars Roessling).
My latest project, the CARF SU30 in Venezuela Sheme had it's maiden flight early 2025. There are 2x Kingtech 142 engines installed. Combined with 2x vector pipe it is the ultimate machine for scale aerobatic flights. Hovering is very easy and stable. Besides this the SU30 just looks amazing in the air and on the ground. It is a perfect addition to the sport jets and aerobatic planes in my hangar.
I look forward to a fantastic next season where I hope to travel with the team to the bigger and more international airshows around the globe...
