Marius Euteneier

I got into the hobby through my Dad when I was 7. Since he's always been a jet pilot, he supported my brother Domi and me incredibly and made it possible for us to join the Jet pilot club early. But we also got hooked on aerobatic planes. That lead us to participating a Jet Aerobatic Competition in Germany in 2018, and the first time we got in touch with Andreas and the CARF-Team. Followed by the event, Andreas gave me the opportunity to join the Team in 2019. This was the starting point of a hobby carreer I never thought of. A time filled with awesome events at home and abroad, flying planes I never thought I would, alongside with friends all around the globe.

Our whole family was always a fan of the CARF planes as they're known for their awesome quality and even better flying characteristics, but what catches me the most is the know-how and the philosophy going into a CARF-model. The intention behind a model like e.g. the Mephisto is not only to achieve high sales numbers, but to make a plane that sparks joy flying it and also has key features that revolutionize the hobby. It’s about spreading new ideas, pushing the limits and bringing pure fun to the pilot not only while flying but also on the building table. That’s why I'm feeling honored to fly with the CARF-Team and why I also wanted to be part of the engeneering and designing process of a CARF-plane.

Andreas in his supportive manner towards young guys gave me the chance to do the CAD-model of the 2.6m Extra 330LX and the Diablo. I‘ve been doing CAD since I was 13 and always wanted to model a plane that goes into serial production. The thought of showing up to the flying field and seeing something I designed on the computer being fancied by other people as well just blew my mind. We even worked on graphic designs together and so my red Extra scheme made it into a stock scheme. But seeing my Mephisto scheme becoming the stock Diablo "Demon Scheme" was the icing on the cake. My latest contribution to the sortiment was designing the landing gear for the giant F-4 Phantom together with Andreas.

Looking back at my past years in the CARF team I can only say that I cant wait to see what the next years will bring because after every year I thought the next one can't be better than the last one and yet it still somehow was. I'm incredibly thankful for the support and all the opportunities...
