General Information

With the acrobatic glider 'Kobuz', the cooperation between CARF-Models and ceflix has already proven what it's capable of. CARF and Ceflix work together in other areas as well, so there was no question that more statements in the model glider world would become reality. The CARF-Models / Ceflix GP-15 JETA is such a project. The extensive experience of Ceflix in glider technology and aerodynamic design, combined with the long-standing production and worldwide marketing capabilities of CARF-Models, are the unique ingredients that make this GP-15 JETA an everlasting success. The original GP 15 E/SE JETA is the most sophisticated, multitasking 15 m, electric self-launching GP GLIDER to date, designed and developed fully in-house. Its design represents the natural evolution of flawless 13,5 m wingspan GP 14 VELO platform, utilizing very similar, sleek fuselages available in two sizes – REGULAR and SPORT.

Features

  • High-strength solid carbon wing
  • Elastic flaps on the control surfaces
  • 50 mm x 20 mm carbon square tube wing joiner
  • Fuselage in CFK with UD tape, fuselage nose section in GFK (2.4 GHz friendly)
  • Canopy is already pre-installed and painted. Bulkheads already installed in the fuselage
  • Horizontal stabilizer in GFK/CFK
  • Vertical stabilizer in GFK/CFK
  • Sealing lips on aileron, flap, and elevator in matching color.
  • control horns on wing, HLG and VLG pre-installed
  • ceflix EZFW 127 mm pre-installed
  • fully installed Color stability thanks to UV-resistant 2K paint – no yellowing
  • Custom design painted onto the surface
  • Fuselage, wings, and horizontal stabilizer painted seamlessly
  • All small parts are included in the kit

Inside...

In the fuselage, there is plenty of room to install whatever is needed. The retractable landing gear is already pre-installed, and the rudder servo position is also prepared. In the nose is enough room to fit the big batteries of the EDF engine or the engine and ESC of an FES engine. If necessary, it would be possible to install a tow hook mechanism as well.

Tail Section

The horizontal stab in 'T' configuration has a split elevator, which is controlled with 2 servos mounted in the rudder post. The mounting of the stab is done by two countersunk M6 bolts, which are covered by the fin tip cover. The fin tip cover gets an M3 bolt from the rear, and the front is held in place by a magnet attached to the front countersunk bolt. With this cover, the tail looks clean.

Wing

In designing the GP-15, we took new approaches and developed an airfoil (celfix0815) that not only delivers excellent gliding characteristics and performance but also embodies aerobatic qualities previously unseen in this class. The GP-15, with a wing area of 1,31m², is uniquely agile on the rudder, like no other scale glider, and impresses with its dynamic handling and performance in thermals. It also excels in aerobatic maneuvers, showcasing roll rates and agility comparable to smaller models.

Engine Choice

The CARF-Models GP-15 JETA can be flown in many ways. Perfectly suited for the commercially available retractable EDFs. Breathtaking in any version, simply the BEST on the market for the thrills of flying high-performance scale gliders. For basic slope soaring and aero-towing, no engine is needed. Otherwise it can a retractable electric ducted fan.

Retractable Landing Gear

The GP-15's main gear has the Ceflix typical retract system. It retracts back into the fuselage to reduce aerodynamic drag during flight. Equipped with a Fema wheel, it is designed for landings on nearly every type of terrain. The 400g light landing gear is one of the strongest and most durable retractors out there, and amazes with Ceflix's high-quality craftsmanship.

The KIT

The GP-15 JETA is offered in plain white, with black bottom wings and stab. Of course, it would be possible to order a single color for the entire airplane or a 100% scale replica of a particular full-size airplane.

Accessories

We offer a range of accessories for our GP-15 JETA—a complete Mac Gregor Servo SET with our CARF-Models servo arm and an EDF or an ESC.

Flying Performance

The GP-15 flies perfectly - extremely agile and responsive. Its roll and pitch response are crisp and precise, allowing tight, controlled maneuvers without sluggishness or twitchiness. The ailerons and elevator feel well-balanced, providing confident low‑speed handling and precise high‑speed control. In thermals, the GP-15 excels: it enters climbs cleanly, stays coordinated in the core, and holds a tight circling radius with minimal pilot input. The elevator authority and rudder coupling make it easy to correct drift and maintain a stable bank angle in turbulent lift.

During transitions and penetration between thermals, the model tracks straight and resists unwanted rudder movement, allowing efficient cruising at higher speeds without excessive height loss. The landing approach is predictable and forgiving. The glidepath control with flaps and spoilers is smooth, enabling precise spot landings.

Overall, the GP-15 combines race-class agility with excellent soaring performance: sharp handling, strong climb rate in thermals, efficient cruising, and reliable, predictable behavior in all phases of flight.
