I’m from Huntington Beach, California, and I’ve been flying RC for more than 35 years. My dad taught me how to fly when I was just seven years old, and ever since then I’ve never stopped enjoying this incredible hobby.
Over the years, I’ve competed in pattern, racing, and DLG gliders, and today I really enjoy attending jet events—flying, relaxing, and spending time with friends. Watching some of the best pilots in the world always keeps me motivated to improve my own skills. Every discipline I’ve flown has made me a better pilot, and I’m grateful for all the fellow competitors, teammates, and friends I’ve met along the way.
When it comes to CARF Models, I have quite a collection of favorites. The Rebel Max is an absolute blast—a “gentle giant,” as I like to call it. The Bolt is my speed machine, yet also the most versatile jet I own, capable of flying fast, slow, and with precise maneuverability. My SU-27 is currently my only scale jet, and it flies amazingly well. The Mephisto is another favorite—whether precision or 3D, it handles both with ease. My 4.3 m Kobuz is simply stunning in the air, while the Rebel Hot is a fun little rocket that flies much bigger than its size suggests. I recently added the Extra 330LX 2.6 m to my hangar, and wow—what an incredible flyer! I’m also very excited to receive my new Diablo and L-39 soon. And beyond my own fleet, I’ve had the chance to fly other CARF models that I don’t yet own—and every one of them has impressed me.
I truly believe CARF has a model for every pilot. The innovation, quality, and performance are second to none, and I am very proud to be part of such an outstanding group of talented pilots.
