Our iconic Rebel lineup just got a massive upgrade! Launched in early August 2026, the CARF Models Rebel MEGA was developed in response to the huge demand from pilots craving an even bigger sport jet. It delivers the pure CARF Rebel performance and slides easily into standard minivans or trailers. You get all the commanding power and authority of a true mega sport jet, paired with the easy transport and proven heritage CARF is famous for.
The Rebel MEGA is the new flagship sport jet in impressive size, exceeding the 25kg limit at around +-40kg takeoff weight. Transportation is still not a big issue due to the 3-part fuselage and the easily removable wings, stabs, and fin. No matter how small or big it is, a Rebel is an all-composite, well-engineered airplane with extreme structural strength, a perfectly painted surface, and durable, well-functioning accessories.
The Rebels all feature this typical Italian design, a little like the charismatic Italian supercars we all know very well. Italian Design and German Engineering have never been a bad combination, so all the Rebels will be hard to beat! With the Rebel Hot, Classic, Pro, and Max, and now the MEGA, we've gone even bigger. Available only with installed retract gear, thrust tube, fuel, and smoke bag, we deliver the Rebel MEGA at what we call ARF+ level.
All five sizes of the Rebels are available with the CARF-typical, high level of quality and prefabrication, so no different will be the biggest of them all, the Rebel MEGA:
As expected from a new CARF-Models design, we've built in many exciting features. Let the following photos speak for themselves.
The four-part fuselage is an impressive design. All three fuselage parts join with bolts and keyholes. Just six M4 bolts and the fuselage is assembled. The big hatch is the most significant feature. It provides access to the engine and its components, the fuel system, and all RC equipment. Reaching easily below the equipment board lets you hide wires and keeps it looking very clean.
The wings feature the same level of prefabrication as the entire Rebel line, with drop-in servo fitment for ailerons and flaps. One high-power servo operates each aileron, while the huge flap surfaces require two servos each for reliable operation. An optional UniLight set is available, including 3D-printed parts for easy installation of the triple landing lights into the wing leading edge. As with all Rebels, each wing is locked with two M6 knurled nuts, which makes the assembly very easy and, in the meantime, ensures a secure wing.
The stabs are nothing more than the same, just bigger. Here, too, drop-in servo fitment is standard, allowing quick, precise, straightforward installation. Just install the servos, connect the linkages, and the stabs are ready for final setup. The stabs are each locked by one M4 bolt into the wingtube.
The fin in general is designed the same way as the Rebel Max, with drop-in servo fitment inside the fin. Removable with one M4 bolt in the front and one M4 bolt from the left into the fin tube. The included linkage cover will cover the linkage.
The ARF+ Kit includes a factory-installed fuel and smoke bag, easily removable by unlocking and pulling out the two carbon tubes per bag.
The thrust tube, factory-installed in the ARF+ Kit, is designed for that exact thrust level. The rounded intake lip is aerodynamically superior to the popular bell mouth. Spiral reinforcement ensures the pipe lasts forever, without the risk of implosion from material fatigue.
Retract Landing GearSince the Rebel MEGA is available as ARF+ only, the Electron ER-50 NG retract gear is already factory-installed. The carbon-sheeted gear mounts, made from Finnish aircraft plywood, are integral to the kit and designed for rugged use. The NG Electron gear is totally sufficient and fits these mounts perfectly. Bigger Electron wheels with standard brakes are well known for their quality and performance; they have no issue handling a Rebel that size.
The best engine choices provide 320 to 350N of thrust. Mounted like the Rebel Max, the turbine sits at the rear of the main fuselage.
The RC installation is fully horizontal in the center of the main fuselage. This makes ultra-clean installations easy because most of the wiring and plumbing can be routed below the board, and there is plenty of room to mount all the equipment there!
We offer an extremely high-quality assembly service, delivering a PNP model, including complete servo and wiring installation. When you receive this model in the PNP version, final assembly takes just a few hours… A sport jet like our big Rebel MEGA has never been easier to get airborne!

The bigger the Rebels get, the less wing loading they have. The MEGA is consequently the lightest of them all... Constant speed, extremely slow flybys with fully deployed flaps, which makes the Rebel MEGA a dream to fly.
From an effortless short take-off through smooth flight routines, this airplane especially instills confidence in any pilot who controls it. The old saying is especially true here: What looks good, flies good.... The sleek aerodynamics take all Rebels to the highest level of sport jets: rock-solid when flown slowly and a racing thoroughbred when the throttle is opened up. The clean, beautiful lines allow smooth, slow, and fast aerobatics while tracking like on rails... Even the biggest one, the MEGA, is perfectly powered with a 320-350N engine. Take-off and landing distances are short enough for any flying field. Tarmac or grass strips suit it equally well. Fast rolls, slow rolls, point rolls, large loops, and Cubans... and most impressive, the slow flights. You'll enjoy the wide spectrum; we promise.
That Rebel MEGA will be built easily in a week, because only the servo, lighting, and RC installation are left for you. Everything else is already built. You can also rely on CARF-Models' high-quality, professional factory integration of the retract gear, thrust tube, and fuel systems. We also ensure that the recommended servos will be a drop-in fit! Rigging a large Sport Jet is always somewhat time-consuming if done right, but it's worth it if you take your time. The large canopy lets everyone look inside, and if you install everything neatly, everybody can enjoy it...
